What's Going on Around Here
| October 22, 2008
Fall is progressing quickly and around here we savor every gorgeous day because we know what's just around the corner! In fact this morning there were some big snow flakes coming down for a short time. It's always a race to get all the winter preparations done before the snow. The last of our tomatoes were picked earlier this week and now we are thoroughly spoiled after months of fresh, pesticide-free produce right from our gardens. Our hummingbirds left us about 6 weeks ago and huge flocks of geese heading south can be seen almost every day. I think the more pleasant the summer has been, the harder it is to say goodbye to it and this year was just about perfect. |

While this is a time of things winding down, we do have a lot to enjoy during this time of year. Hot apple cider, pumpkin bread, pulling out all those warm sweaters and the dazzling fall show of color. |

We have several exciting announcements in the What's New page that I hope you will take a look at. This month we are celebrating the 4th anniversary of our web site. Thank you for your business. We appreciate all of our visitors and hope you will come back often.
Peace to All,
Mary Z |
